Accessing the temporary digital application upload function on the Australian Passport Office website
Australians in Iraq may be able to lodge their passport application online using the temporary digital upload function on the Australian passport website.
You can use the digital upload function if you:
- are currently in Iraq and have a delivery address in Iraq
- have held a 10-year Australian Passport issued since 1 January 2006; or
- are lodging an application for a child.
If you do not meet the requirements, you must lodge your application in person at the Australian Embassy in Baghdad.
For customers in Iraq who meet the above criteria, follow these steps:
- complete the application form online
- upload the application form, supporting documents, digital photo and credit card payment authorisation (payment is only available by credit card and is taken in AUD (Australian Dollars)).
Passport collection:
If you want your new passport sent to a location other than the country you are currently in, please complete a declaration (form-B11) which should include:
- where you want your passport delivered (i.e. Australian Embassy, Consulate or High Commission or a Passports State Office in Australia),
- a name of the person authorised to collect it on your behalf
- your written authorisation for that person to receive the passport.
Once collected, you or your nominated contact is responsible for arranging the safe delivery of the passport to you.
Assessment and payment:
Once your digital application has been reviewed (note this may take up to 10 days), you will receive an email from [email protected] with payment confirmation.
In assessing your application, we may contact you if:
- the application is for a child and if we need to confirm information.
- additional documentation is required.
- there is a problem with what you have submitted.
- you are not eligible for this service.
When finalised, your passport will be sent to the Australian Embassy in Baghdad.
Note: If your delivery address is not in Iraq, the digital upload option will not appear when you begin your online application.
Processing times and support:
Refer to the Australian Passport Office website for current processing times.
If you have any issues with the online application or account registration process, contact the Australian Embassy in Baghdad.
Examples where customers are not eligible for the digital upload function:
You cannot use the digital upload function if:
- you have urgent need to travel or require an emergency passport
- you hold a Limited Validity Passport (LVP)
- you are applying for your first adult passport (you must lodge your application in person at an Australian Embassy, Consulate or High Commission or a passport office in Australia).
Note: A child who is applying for a first-time adult passport may be issued a Limited Validity Passport (LVP). The LVP may be upgraded to a fully validity passport if they present in person to an Australian Embassy, Consulate or High Commission prior to expiry.

Create an AusPassport account and complete your application form online at Passports.gov.au for lodgement.
Passports are printed in Australia. After an application has been accepted for lodgement, it generally takes at least 6–8 weeks for the passport to be delivered to the Embassy. You will be notified by e-mail, once your passport is ready for collection to arrange a time to collect the passport or have it mailed to you.
What to include with your passport application
- A completed passport application form.
- A minimum of two recent passport photos. Please obtain a JPEG file of the photo to be included with your application if required.
- Photocopy of your most recent passport (photo page only).
- Credit card authorisation form for payment. Please ensure your credit card accepts international payments.
- General Declaration Form (B-11) may be required to be completed in some cases that require further clarification.
- If you are submitting the PC8 Application for an Australian Passport Overseas form (e.g. child applications, first time applicants, replacement of lost/stolen passports), you should also include photocopies of all required documents including:

التقديم الالكتروني المؤقت لطلبات جواز السفر عبر موقع مكتب جوازات السفر الأسترالي
بإمكان الأستراليين الموجودين في العراق تقديم طلب جواز السفر عبر الإنترنت باستخدام التقديم الالكتروني المؤقت المتاحة على موقع مكتب جوازات السفر الأسترالي.
يمكنك استخدام التقديم الالكتروني إذا كنت:
- متواجداً حالياً في العراق ولديك عنوان تسليم داخل العراق؛
- قد سبق لك حيازة جواز سفر أسترالي لمدة 10 سنوات وصادر بعد 1 كانون الثاني 2006؛ أو
- تقدّم طلباً نيابةً عن طفل.
إذا لم تستوفِ هذه الشروط، يتعين عليك تقديم الطلب شخصياً في السفارة الأسترالية في بغداد.
للمراجعين في العراق الذين تنطبق عليهم المعايير أعلاه، يرجى اتباع الخطوات التالية:
- إكمال استمارة الطلب عبر الإنترنت.
- رفع استمارة الطلب، والوثائق المطلوبة، والصورة الرقمية، وتفويض الدفع ببطاقة الائتمان
(الدفع متاح فقط بواسطة بطاقة الائتمان وبالعملة الأسترالية (الدولار الأسترالي)).
استلام جواز السفر:
إذا رغبتَ في إرسال جواز سفرك الجديد إلى موقع مختلف عن البلد الذي تتواجد فيه حالياً، يرجى تعبئة إقرار (النموذج B11)، على أن يتضمن ما يلي:
- موقع تسليم جواز السفر (مثل: سفارة أو قنصلية أو مفوضية عليا أسترالية، أو أحد مكاتب جوازات السفر داخل أستراليا)؛
- اسم الشخص المفوض باستلام الجواز نيابةً عنك؛
- تفويضك الخطي لذلك الشخص باستلام جواز السفر.
بعد الاستلام، تكون أنت أو جهة الاتصال التي قمتَ بتسميتها مسؤولين عن ترتيب تسليم جواز السفر إليك بأمان.
التقييم والدفع:
بعد مراجعة طلبك الإلكتروني (يرجى ملاحظة أن ذلك قد يستغرق حتى 10 أيام)، ستتلقى رسالة بريد إلكتروني من العنوان التالي تؤكد الدفع:

أثناء تقييم طلبك، قد يتم التواصل معك في الحالات التالية:
- إذا كان الطلب خاصاً بطفل ونحتاج إلى تأكيد معلومات إضافية؛
- إذا كانت هناك حاجة إلى مستندات إضافية؛
- إذا وُجدت مشكلة في المعلومات أو المستندات المقدمة؛
- إذا لم تكن مؤهلاً لاستخدام هذه الخدمة.
عند الانتهاء من المعالجة، سيتم إرسال جواز سفرك إلى السفارة الأسترالية في بغداد.
ملاحظة: إذا لم يكن عنوان التسليم داخل العراق، فلن تظهر لك خيار الرفع الرقمي عند بدء طلبك عبر الإنترنت.
مدة المعالجة والدعم:
يرجى الرجوع إلى موقع مكتب جوازات السفر الأسترالي لمعرفة مدة المعالجة الحالية.
في حال واجهت أي مشكلة في تقديم الطلب عبر الإنترنت أو في عملية تسجيل الحساب، يرجى التواصل مع السفارة الأسترالية في بغداد.
أمثلة على الحالات غير المؤهلة لاستخدام التقديم الالكتروني:
لا يمكنك استخدام التقديم الالكتروني إذا:
- كانت لديك حاجة عاجلة للسفر أو كنت بحاجة إلى جواز سفر طارئ؛
- كنت تحمل جواز سفر محدود الصلاحية (LVP)؛
- كنت تتقدم بطلب أول جواز سفر للبالغين
(يتعين تقديم الطلب شخصياً في سفارة أو قنصلية أو مفوضية أسترالية، أو في أحد مكاتب جوازات السفر داخل أستراليا).
ملاحظة: الطفل الذي يتقدم بطلب للحصول على أول جواز سفر للبالغين قد يُمنح جواز سفر محدود الصلاحية (LVP). ويمكن ترقية هذا الجواز إلى جواز كامل الصلاحية عند مراجعته شخصياً لسفارة أو قنصلية أو مفوضية أسترالية قبل تاريخ انتهاء الصلاحية.

قم بإنشاء حساب AusPassport واستكمل نموذج الطلب عبر الإنترنت على Passports.gov.au لتقديمه.
يتم طباعة جوازات السفر في أستراليا. بعد قبول الطلب لتقديمه، يستغرق الأمر على الاقل حوالي 6-8 أسابيع لوصول جواز السفر إلى السفارة. سيتم اعلامك عبر البريد الالكتروني بمجرد أن يصبح جواز سفرك جاهزًا للاستلام لغرض ترتيب وقت لاستلام جواز السفر أو إرساله إليك عبر البريد.
متطلبات تقديم جواز السفر
- نموذج طلب جواز السفر المكتمل.
- صورة شخصية (عدد 2 على الاقل) بما يتوافق مع تعليمات مكتب الجوازات الاسترالي. يُرجى الحصول على ملف JPEG للصورة المراد ارفاقها مع طلبك إذا لزم الأمر.
- نسخة مصوّرة من جواز سفرك الأخير (صفحة الصورة فقط).
- نموذج تخويل بطاقة الائتمان للدفع. يُرجى التأكد من أن بطاقة الائتمان الخاصة بك تقبل التعاملات الدولية.
- قد يكون من المطلوب استكمال نموذج التعهد العام (B-11) في بعض الحالات التي تتطلب توضيحًا إضافيًا.
- عند تقديمك استمارة PC8 طلب الحصول على جواز سفر أسترالي في الخارج (على سبيل المثال طلبات الأطفال، المتقدمين لأول مرة، استبدال جوازات السفر المفقودة/المسروقة)، فيجب عليك أيضًا ارفاق نسخ ملونة لجميع المستندات المطلوبة بما في ذلك:
